FLOAT SESSIONS

Guests must be 16 years of age to float and be accompanied by a parent. 18+ years of age or older, no parent required. Due to the nature of hair dye, we are not permitted to let those with jewel tones float, this would apply to a full hair application as well as highlights. These colors tend to bleed into the pool, discoloring the water as well as the pool itself.

PREPARE FOR YOUR FLOAT

There are a few key notes to be

aware of prior to your float session:

Do not shave the day of your float

No hair dye two weeks prior to your float

No application of self-tanning lotions two weeks prior to your float

We do not recommend drinking fluids before your session to prevent interrupting your session by needing to use the facilities or floating after a big meal.

Once you enter your private float room, remove your clothes and all jewelry. A cleansing towel is provided to remove make-up, sunscreen and other facial products. Insert your earplugs and shower using lukewarm water. Using the Pre-Float soap thoroughly cleanse your hair and body, be sure to rinse off well. No shampoo or conditioner are allowed prior to your session.

Dry your face to avoid distracting water droplets and step into the pool. Cover any small cuts with Vaseline (provided).

You have control over the light in the pool. Turn it off when you are ready to begin your session. A glow token is provided and will hang above the lights should you need them at any point during your float.

Lie back, resting your head into the water, legs extended, and arms over your head or extended at your side.

Your ears will be below the water line, but your face will remain above it. Find what is comfortable for you. We also provide a neck pillow should you need it.

A light will come on and a “bing bong” chime will come on when your session is over.

Exit the pool carefully, then shower again to remove any salty residue. At this point, you may now use shampoo and conditioner, the pre-float soap will be your body wash.

Once you’re dressed, please exit the room to make way for cleanup and the next floater. You may use the bathroom for grooming. Hair dryers are provided for your convenience. We recommend bringing your own hairbrush, as well as any styling products, if necessary.

Floats may only be scheduled prior to a massage or sauna session to prevent oils from entering the pools. View our FAQs and benefits below, for more information about floatation therapy.

ABOUT FLOATATION THERAPY

Floatation Therapy is essentially a way of achieving deep relaxation by spending an hour or more lying quietly in darkness, floating effortlessly in a warm solution of Epsom salt that is more dense than the Dead Sea. Float pools/tanks are also known as isolation tanks, sensory deprivation tanks &

REST (Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy) chambers.

Free from gravity and external stimulation, you are able to relax in a meditative state. You can listen to soothing music or float in serene silence in your private float room equipped with a shower. Floating is safe, all natural and therapeutic, and offers a multitude of benefits for body, mind and spirit.

Our Float Pools: Let go in the luxurious 8' Round Floataway Pools with optional ambient lighting and soothing sound.  The Floataround pools are favored by Dr Justin Feinstein of LIBR with their self centering shape giving that open ocean feeling. The round float pool of 8 feet in diameter is 11 inches deep and big enough to stretch the arms and legs, so it is ideal for gentle floating exercise as well as really relaxing. The high ceiling and open design prevents any thoughts of claustrophobia, ideal for first time floaters.

MY FIRST FLOAT

What will floatation therapy be like for me?

We don’t know what it will be like for you since it is such an individual experience. Nearly every client reports having profound peace and relaxation, as well as deep concentration and enhanced creativity.

We like to avoid saying too much before people use our float pools, so they aren’t influenced by others’ experiences. Everything you experience while floating comes from within yourself; therefore, you control your own experience. Not only will it be different for you than it is for anyone else, it will also be different each time you float.

We recommend a minimum of three-four float therapy sessions to get comfortable with the floating and experience all the floatation therapy benefits. We have clients whose lives have been transformed by floating.
